
Stopped in Itoigawa and found this gorgeous sushi spread — the delicate white fish just melts on your tongue, and the uni and ikura are impossibly fresh. September in Niigata is peak season, and you can taste it in every piece. The care in each bite reminded me why coastal Japan is a food lover's paradise!
糸魚川に立ち寄ったら、こんな最高の寿司に出会った!淡白な白身がとろけるし、ウニとイクラの鮮度がもう別次元。秋の新潟は旬真っ最中で、ネタの質感が全然違う。一貫一貫の丁寧さが、沿岸日本が食の天国たる理由を教えてくれたな!
