Stumbled upon this gem in Itoigawa while exploring the Chubu region — the Fossa Magna Museum, dedicated to one of Japan's most dramatic geological boundaries. The minimalist concrete architecture itself felt like a statement, and stepping inside to learn about the massive tectonic forces that shaped this entire area blew my mind. September light filtering through, and suddenly the whole landscape around me made sense!
