Caught this ancient wooden signpost deep in the Sakuho forest at sunrise — the soft morning light filtering through the tall pines was just perfect. June hiking in Nagano hits different; the air's crisp, the greens are lush, and with Mt. Yatsugatake visible in the distance, every step feels like stepping into another world.
