August in Sakata — wandering through these magnificent old warehouses (kura) lining the street felt like stepping straight into Edo times. The massive timber beams and weathered wood, all framed by those towering trees, just took my breath away. You can really feel the history of this port town breathing through every plank!

真夏の酒田。本町一丁目の蔵並木を歩いてたら、江戸時代にタイムスリップした気分だった！太い柱に風化した木の壁、そして大きな樹木に囲まれた空間。港町としての歴史がそのまま残ってて、最高だな！！
