Driftwood & Spring Seas, Takatsu Beach, Shimane

May along the Shimane coast — wandered down to Takatsu beach and found this weathered driftwood facing the open sea. There's something about these worn pieces that makes you feel the weight of all the journeys they've made. The grass was already turning green, the water was calling, and I just sat there taking it all in.

５月の島根県益田市高津の海岸。打ち上げられた流木と広がる海を眺めてたら、この木がどこから来たんだろうとか、どれくらいの時間をかけてここにたどり着いたんだろうとか、いろんなことを考えちゃった。初夏の空気が気持ちよかったな！
