Stumbled into this gem during a May countryside drive through Shiga — a proper curry rice with sliced beef, fresh veggies, and that golden-brown sauce that hits different at midday. The rice was fluffy, the curry was rich, and I couldn't stop eating. Rural Japan always has these surprising pockets of delicious comfort food!
