
Stumbled upon this beautifully preserved ryokan entrance in Karuizawa during a May trip — the ochre walls, dark timber beams, and white noren curtains just stopped me in my tracks. Such classic Japanese architecture! The craftsmanship and attention to detail in these old inns really gets me every time.
5月の軽井沢で見つけた古い旅館の入口。黄土色の壁に黒い梁、白い暖簾が映えて最高だったな!こういう昔ながらの建築って、本当にいいんだよ。職人の技とか細部への拘りが伝わってくる。
