River Restoration Work, Iwaki Fukushima

Spotted this riverside restoration project in Iwaki during early February — the winter trees were still bare, but you could already feel spring creeping in. The contrast between the heavy machinery and the peaceful river flowing through was oddly beautiful. Nature and human work, side by side.

2月のいわき市で見つけた河川工事の現場。冬の木々がまだ裸だけど、春の気配が感じられるようになってきた時期だった。重機と静かに流れる川の対比が何か良くて、思わず写真に収めちゃった。人間の営みと自然が一緒に存在する瞬間、好きなんだよね。
