Stumbled upon this gorgeous unagi-don in Katashina during a June wander through Gunma — the eel was glazed to perfection, crispy on the outside and buttery inside. The whole set with soup and pickles hit different in the mountain air. This is the kind of casual lunch that sticks with you!
