September in the Northern Alps — I caught that perfect moment when summer's green starts bleeding into autumn gold. The basin sprawls out raw and massive, those jagged peaks rising sharp against the sky. This high-altitude pocket of the Hotaka range is pure alpine magic, and I was the only one up here drinking it all in.
