Summer on Hachijōjima hit different — I found myself at Tsumari Beach in mid-July, surrounded by these dramatic volcanic rock formations jutting straight out of the ocean. The water was crystal clear, the sky endless, and those dark basalt boulders felt like they were telling the island's volcanic story. Honestly, it's wild that this kind of raw beauty is just a ferry ride away from Tokyo!

7月の八丈島は最高だった！妻里ビーチで火山岩がゴロゴロ転がってる景色に出会った。透き通った海、果てしない空、そして黒々とした玄武岩。島の火山の歴史が全部詰まってるみたいな風景だったな。東京からこんなに近いのに、こんな迫力ある自然が残ってるって本当すごい！
