Found myself at Horiuchi beach in Hagi on a moody May afternoon—those dramatic clouds over the Sea of Japan were something else. The rocky islands offshore, the quiet stretch of sand, the whole raw energy of the coast just pulled me in. Perfect reminder why I travel to the edges.
