Mt. Tsubakuro Night Summit, Nagano Alps

Caught the pre-dawn magic from Mt. Tsubakuro's summit in mid-July — that deep blue hour just before sunrise, with the whole Azumino valley sleeping below. The stars were still out, and the horizon slowly started glowing. Alpine camping at its finest.
