September in the Chubu Alps — caught this sweeping view of a pristine mountain valley with Mt. Yari piercing the horizon. The late-summer light hitting those dramatic ridges was just perfect, and the river threading through the gorge below made the whole scene feel alive. Days like this remind me why I keep coming back to Japan's high country.
