Early Spring on the Abukuma River, Niigata

Drove through Murakami in April and caught this moody stretch of the Abukuma River near Fukuda — that soft grey sky and calm water hit different when spring's just getting started. The river stretches out so wide and peaceful here, it's easy to forget you're still in Japan. Loved the quietness.

４月に村上市・福田を通りかかって、阿武隈川のこの風景に出会った。春の始まりの淡いグレーの空と静かな川面が本当に素敵だったな。こんなに広くて穏やかな川が新潟にあるんだ、って改めて感動した！！
