December in Kawagoe, and I found myself mesmerized by this beautifully lit lantern hanging under the eaves—that chrysanthemum crest glowing warmly against the dark wood. The way the light filtered through was pure magic, reminding me why this historic neighbourhood gets under your skin.

12月の川越で見つけた、軒先に灯るこの提灯の光！菊の紋が浮かぶ様子がね、本当に綺麗で。暗い木製の提灯から透ける光を見てると、この町の空気感が一気に伝わってくる。最高だった！
