Tōji Temple's Vast Lecture Hall, Kyōto

Standing in front of Tōji's main lecture hall — the sheer scale of it just stops you in your tracks. December light in Kyōto hit it perfectly, and I could feel centuries of history hanging in the air. Absolutely humbling.
