Mountain Summit in Gifu with Mt. Yari in View

September in the Chubu Alps — made it to this peak marker with an unreal panorama unfolding all around me. Mt. Yari sharp on the horizon, the whole range glowing in that perfect early-autumn light. Moments like this remind me why I keep coming back to these mountains.
