Goryokaku Fort Park, Hakodate – Spring by the Moat

May in Hakodate — wandered through Goryokaku and found this stone marker standing quiet by the moat, with the earthen ramparts stretching behind it. The sky was moody, the air was fresh, and the whole place had this peaceful, history-soaked feeling. Perfect spot to just stand and take in the moment.

５月の函館、五稜郭を歩いていたらこの石碑を見つけた。水堀の畔に佇む感じがたまらなくて、思わずパシャリ。土塁が静かに歴史を語りかけてくるようで、とても素敵な場所だったな！
