Monument Valley, Arizona — the iconic buttes at last

June in Arizona and I finally made it to Monument Valley — those massive red buttes rising out of the desert are even more jaw-dropping in person than any photo could capture. The scale is just unreal, and the silence out there hits different. Pure desert magic.
