Stumbled upon Nishi-Oyama Station in Ibusuki, Kagoshima — Japan's southernmost JR station on the Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line. May skies were crystal clear, and Mt. Kaimon stood perfectly framed in the distance. Tiny, peaceful, and absolutely worth the detour!
