Stumbled upon this beautiful traditional structure in Sumiyoshimachi during a June wandering through Noshiro — the craftsmanship and the way it sits so naturally in the landscape just stopped me in my tracks. The deep eaves, the balance of wood and stone, the carefully tended gardens... this is what Tohoku does best!

６月の能代市をぶらぶら歩いていて、住吉町でこの素敵な建築に出会いました！深い軒、木と石のバランス、丁寧に手入れされた庭...東北の良さが詰まってるな〜って感じで、思わず立ち止まっちゃいました。
