Walked this peaceful canal through Inaricho-kitagumi in April and felt completely transported — weeping willows draped over the water, old wooden buildings lining both sides, barely a soul around. This is the Kyoto that takes your breath away, the one you didn't expect to find just walking through the neighbourhood.
