Dead Sea, Jordan — Earth's Lowest Point

October 2019 — finally made it to the Dead Sea in Jordan, and that otherworldly landscape just stopped me cold. The salt-crusted shore, those otherworldly mineral formations, and water so dense you float without trying — it's less like a lake and more like being on another planet. The whole vibe is surreal.
