June in Utah — and I found myself staring at these massive striped cliffs that looked like they'd been painted by nature itself. The layers of red and cream just went on forever, with tiny pines clinging to the slope like they owned the place. That dry heat, that impossible blue sky — this is what draws me back to the American West again and again.
