Picked this up in Higashinakasone during a June visit to Miyakojima — a goya champuru tea that tastes like the island's summer heat itself! The bitter-sweet punch of bitter melon mixed with that Okinawan warmth was exactly what I needed to cool down. Small moments like this make island hopping so addictive.
